Description:
Soluble extracellular domain of human TfR (amino acid residues 101-760). Molecular weight 73800 Da. Does not contain any tags.
Application:
As a marker of iron deficiency anemia to differentiate it from anemia of chronic disease, in biochemical studies of TfR, as calibrator or standard in immunoassays, immunogen for antibody production.
Analysis:
Purity > 95% (SDS-PAGE in non-reducing conditions)
Concentration is determined spectrophotometrically.

Presentation:
Lyophilized from 10 mM Tris-HCl, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 8.0 and 5 % D-mannitol, 0.1% CHAPS.

It is recommended to reconstitute this product with deionized water to its initial concentration.

Storage:
Lyophilized -20°C (-15 … -30 °C allowed)
Reconstituted -70°C (-65 … -80 °C allowed)
Other information:
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. It is recommended to aliquot the product after reconstitution.

To prepare diluted samples of sTfR it is recommended to use 10 mM Tris-HCl, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 8.0 and 5 % D-mannitol, 0.1% CHAPS. Such samples should be frozen until use.

Do not freeze after reconstitution, if concentration is below 0.1 mg/ml.
