Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified rabies virus.

 

Specificity:
MAbs 4G4, 4F1, 7E3 are specific to glycoprotein.
MAb 1C5cc has a virus-neutralizing activity in respect to the majority of standard RV and rabies-relative viruses: CVS, Lagos bat, Mokola, Flury lep, Duvenhage and the field isolates.

IgG2a for MAbs 1C5cc
IgG2b for MAbs 4G4, 4F1, 7E3
Applications:
MAbs 1C5cc, 4G4,4F1, 7E3 are working in EIA.
MAbs  4F1, 7E3 are working in Western blotting.
MAbs  4F1, 7E3 are working in immunofluorescence.
MAb 1C5cc works in immunocytochemistry.
Purification:
MAb 1C5cc is purified by chromatography on protein G Sepharose and all other MAbs on protein A Sepharose.
