Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified human soluble transferrin receptor.
Specificity:
Human transferrin receptor for MAb 7-1.
Human soluble transferrin receptor and complex between soluble transferrin receptor and transferrin for other MAbs.
MAb isotypes:
IgG2b for MAbs 7-1, 11F5 and 23D10
IgG2a for MAbs 2B6 and 13E4
Applications:
Detection of human soluble transferrin receptor. MAbs are working in ELISA. Recommended pairs for ELISA (capture – detection):
2B6 – 11F5
Best pair (capture – detection): 23D10 – 13E4
All MAbs are working in Western blotting.
MAb 23D10 can be used for detection of a complex between transferrin and transferrin receptor in sandwich immunoassay using anti-transferrin MAbs 8B9 and 11D3 (Cat. # 2-TTRC) as detectionMAbs.
