MAbs in vitro:

D4B8cc

Mouse monoclonal antibody produced in bioreactor.  Hybridoma clone derived from hybridization of X63-Ag8-653 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice.

MAbs in vivo:

C7C9,  7F8

Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of X63-Ag8-653 myeloma cells with spleen

cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified human insulin.

Insulin, human

MAb C7C9 reacts with C-terminal pentapeptide of insulin β-chain. MAbs 7F8,  andD4B8cc reacts with different antigenic determinants.

These antibodies cross-react with human proinsulin, bovine insulin (30%) and porcine insulin. No

cross-reaction with free C-peptide.
