C7C9, 7F8Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of X63-Ag8-653 myeloma cells with spleen
cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified human insulin.
Specificity:
Insulin, humanMAb C7C9 reacts with C-terminal pentapeptide of insulin β-chain. MAbs 7F8, andD4B8cc reacts with different antigenic determinants.
These antibodies cross-react with human proinsulin, bovine insulin (30%) and porcine insulin. No
cross-reaction with free C-peptide.

IgG1, kappa for MAbs C7C9, 7F8, D4B8cc
Applications:Detection of insulin in two-site enzyme immunoassay. Following pairs are recommended(capturedetection): 7F8 – D4B8cc
MAb D4B8cc can be used in immunohistochemistry on frozen sections.
