MAbs:
1F7, 26E7, 49D2
Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with fibrinopeptide A conjugated with a carrier protein.
Specificity:
Fibrinopeptide A region in the alpha-chain of fibrinogen and free fibrinopeptide A.
MAb isotypes:
IgG2a for MAbs 1F7 and 49D2
IgG2b for MAb 26E7
Applications:
Fibrinogen and fibrinopeptide A immunoassay. For specific fibrinogen detection in sandwich ELISA we recommend using anti-fibrinopeptide A MAbs for coating and anti-fibrinogen MAbs for conjugation.
Recommended pairs (capture-detection):
49D2 (anti-fibrinopeptide A) – 40F11 (anti-fibrinogen)
1F7 (anti-fibrinopeptide A) – 1F3 (anti-fibrinogen)
26E7 (anti-fibrinopeptide A) – 27C8 (anti-fibrinogen)
MAbs are working also in Western blotting.
Purification:
Chromatography on protein A Sepharose
