Monoclonal mouse anti-canine C-reactive protein (cCRP) antibodies

Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with canine C-reactive protein (whole molecule).

IgG1 for MAbs cCRP1, cCRP11, cCRP34
IgG2b for MAb cCRP3

Immunoassays for quantitative determination of canine CRP.
MAbs cCRP1, cCRP11 and cCRP34 are recommended for sandwich type immunoassays.
Recommended pairs for cCRP detection in canine serum are (capture – detection):
cCRP11 – cCRP1, cCRP34 – cCRP1.
MAb cCRP3 can be used in direct or indirect ELISA.
MAb cCRP3 recognizes canine CRP in Western blotting under both reducing and non-reducing conditions.
